Adjustment on the Maximum Number of Subject Alternative Name in e-Cert (Server) with “Multi-domain” Feature

To enhance the e-Cert services and streamline the certificate management, starting from 30 September 2026, Hongkong Post Certification Authority (HKPCA) will increase the maximum number of Subject Alternative Name (SAN) supported for the following e-Cert from 50 to 100, allowing each certificate to identify up to 100 server names owned by the subscriber organisation.

  • e-Cert (Server) with "Multi-domain" feature
  • Extended Validation e-Cert (Server) with "Multi-domain" feature

Starting from 30 September 2026, subscribers may download the new application form and submit applications.
